Dear Solo-para-me, I'll try to resume one of the most embarassing situations I have ever lived. In November 2003 I got engaged to a Masry. A few days after he talked to my father and they settled things, we had planned to go and have dinner out. I was dressed, waiting, when he called to tell me he has a business meeting and after that he and his friends would go to a restaurant. I said 'ok, go' and then I left to visit a girlfriend. I told her what happened and she said 'Sure, sure, he is having dinner with another woman, don't be stupid, girl!'. So I called him and carefully listened to all the noise I could hear from inside (music, voices). I figured out which restaurant, I took a cab and arrived. I entered, I looked around and of course I saw him at a table with some of his friends and some men I did not know. I went to the bar, ordered still-mineral water with lemon, I took a sip, then I payd and left. Then he called me and we had a looong conversation, but eventually it all went fine, Alhamdulillah.
